Issuing a special media statement, the outgoing President Maithripala Sirisena requested all citizens eligible to vote not to get swayed by propaganda and rumors and exercise their right today for the presidential election.The environment in the country has been strengthened for all voters to exercise their franchise freely at the presidential election to be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, the statement said.
