The Customs duty on B onion imports has been decreased by Rs. 39 per kilo enabling consumers to purchase big onions with no inconvenience, Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Irrigation and Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Minister P. Harrison said He said he is providing this relief to consumers to prevent an escalation of B onion prices in the open market.
