Public Health Inspectors take over 2500 restaurant owners to court

The Public Health Inspectors Union said, 19,730 restaurants that sold food unsuitable for human consumption were inspected during raids conducted within the past seven days. Chairman of the Union Upul Rohana said, legal action has been taken against 2,716 restaurants. The Chairman further noted that raids will be conducted continuously during the festive season.
