Excise Department cancels leave – officers to conduct more raids

1The Excise Department has taken steps to cancel leave of its officers as additional raids will be conducted to apprehend those engaged in the sale of illicit liquor during the festive season. Deputy Commissioner at the Department M.B. Wanasuriya said, Department officials have been instructed to conduct raids around the clock, countrywide.
