SL Customs arrests individual over alleged currency smuggling attempt

airport-bandaranaikeThe Sri Lanka Customs has arrested an individual at the Bandaranaike International Airport. The individual had allegedly attempted to smuggle, a stock of foreign currency worth Rs.11 million to Dubai. Customs Spokesperson Dharmasena Kahadawa said that the arrested suspect had allegedly smuggled money to foreign countries on several occasions before as well.
