Prevailing showery condition is expected to gradually reduce from tomorrow (31January).
Several spells of Showers will occur in the Northern, North-central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere, particularly after 2.00 pm.
However, a few showers can be expected in western coastal area in the morning too.
Temporary localized strong winds during the thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
