Cabinet approval has been granted to dissolve Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Ltd which functioned as an organization under the ministry of defense.
Thereby, services undertaken by Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Ltd with regard to providing security to various institutions will now be vested with the civil defense force while maritime security operations will now be vested with the Sri Lanka Navy.
