Government will allocate Rs. 148.29 million for the constructions of the Wattala Court Complex which has to be completed immediately to provide a good service to residents around Wattala area.
The Cabinet had early approved the implementation of the first phase of the above project through the Sri Lanka State Engineering Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs. 156.18 million. The functions of the Wattala court are currently done in a part of the Court Complex, Mahara.
Accordingly, the proposal made by Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, Minister of Justice, to award the second phase of the above project to the Sri Lanka State Engineering Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs. 148.29 million on the basis of design and built, was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
