Yamuni Rashmika Perera, a photo journalist attached to the Department of Government Information won the PSA Silver award in the Open Category at the 13th Shanghai International Photographic Art Exhibition.
Her photograph titled ‘Ceremonial’ has been awarded at the exhibition.
Ms. Perera, in 2008 won the best news photo journalist award. This year at the FLASH MUSIC- 2016 organized by the Academy of Photography Bulgaria she won the GOLD FIAP and FIAP Honorable Mention awards.
In addition she has won many awards nationally and internationally.
