A soldier at the Maduru Oya, Aralaganwila has died during a training session. The police said, the soldier died after falling into the ZD canal during training.
The deceased was a 24-year-old resident of Dodanduwa.
Army spokesperson Brigadier Roshan Seneviratne said, a special investigation is underway into the incident.The spokesperson said, a special team has been assigned to look into the incident.
