An Indian national has been arrested by the Customs officials at the Katunayake International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle 45,000 U.S. dollars (Approx. Rs. 6,653,675) out of the country.
Deputy Director of Customs, Parakrama Basnayake said the suspect was heading to Chennai.
