The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party has decided to appoint a committee headed by Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva regarding the Central Bank bond scam, and to submit a report to the president.
Speaking at a media briefing which is currently being held in Colombo, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said that the committee comprises of six other members.
Members of the committee include Ministers Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, W.D.J. Seneviratne; State Ministers Dilan Perera, Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena and Deputy Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna.
