Showery weather and cloudy skies are expected in most parts of the island due to the persistence of low level atmospheric disturbance in the Bay of Bengal. Heavy falls (about 100 mm) can be expected at some places.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in most parts of the Island.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
