An individual was killed earlier on Friday morning in an accident involving a cab and a lorry near the 13th Post Kaluwaragaswewa along the Anuradhapura-Puttalam main road.
The individual, who was crushed between the two vehicles, was 21 years old.
The lorry driver involved in the accident has been arrested. Investigations are being conducted by the Karuwalagaswewa Police.
