The Gammadda Saviya Programme on Saturday took measures to provide clean drinking water to the people of Thelwatta in Badulla. The people of Thelwatte in Badulla suffered for many years due to the lack of clean drinking water.
Establishing their right to access clean drinking water, this drinking water project built at the Thelwatte Tamil College in Badulla was vested in the public by the Gammadda Saviya programme. This water project will also provide water to the Sri Murugan Devalaya in Thelwatte.
Financial aid for this project was provided by the Managing Director of Digital Tech engineering Pvt. Ltd, Thilina Hettiarachchi. The public service to end the suffering of the people, continues.
