Four foreign nationals arrested in Mount Lavinia

Four foreign nationals were arrested close to the Mount Lavinia Railway Station for the alleged possession of Heroin worth Rs.20 million.

Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of the Police Narcotics Bureau Kamal de Silva said that a total of two kilogrammes of Heroin were seized in the arrest.

He added that the arrests were made based on information which were gathered during investigation, which were being conducted for a long period of time.

The foreign nationals include three Maldivians and one Pakistani.
