Trail, a walk against cancer completed its 21st day of the walk from Galle Face Green to Moratuwa. The campaign was initiated in an effort to bring together communities across Sri Lanka and collectively drive the nation’s fight against cancer.
Today’s leg began with breakfast and stretching at the Galle Face Green in the morning followed by a quick warm up. The walk which takes place over 28 days spans 670 kilometres along the length of the country.
The walk which will come to a close on November 2, aims to raise USD five million to establish a new cancer treatment facility at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital in Galle.
