State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene handed over 5 houses for differently able war heroes in a ceremony held at Kottukachchiya in Anamaduwa yesterday (30th Oct.).
Hatton National Bank (HNB) financially supported the project and State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Piyankara Jayaratne together with Anamaduwa Divisional Secretary assisted the project to provide a suitable land.
Built in a 15 perch land, 2 million rupees worth house includes a living room, kitchen and two bed rooms.
State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Piyankara Jayaratne, Chairman of HNB, and District Secretary of Puttalam were also participated.
