The son of a state minister has been arrested by the Anamaduwa Police in connection with a motor accident.
Police said that one person was killed in the accident that took place at around 7 p.m. on Monday, October 24, when a motorcycle collided with a SUV.
Police added that even though the SUV had fled the location after the collision, police had taken the vehicle and occupant into custody near the Kotawehera area.
