Singer Chillie, who was arrested and remanded on the charge of assaulting an individual, was released on bail this morning.
The Kaduwela Magistrate Dhammika Hemapala ordered that the singer be released on a cash bail of 10 000 rupees, and a surety of 500 000 rupees.
The case was postponed until the 24th of January 2017.
