The COPE report on treasury bonds had made quite a stir in parliament – even before being presented to Parliament.
It was earlier announced that the COPE report on the treasury bonds was to be produced in Parliament today. However, it was postponed.
The matter was widely discussed in parliament today.
Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises , MP Sunil Handunnetti noted that the working committee will reconvene once again at 02:30 tomorrow while a certain allocation has been made for the translations and the printing of the already-prepared reports. He said that it will be discussed tomorrow, and hopefully presented to parliament this week.
