In the mid of moving emotional best wishes and greetings, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Commander, 1 Corps, having completed an illustrious and commendable service of more than 34 years on Monday (14) made the final courtesy call on his trusted and inspiring adviser, General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters, together with his spouse on the eve of his retirement.
