COLOMBO (News 1st); Venerable Buddangala Ananda Thero, who also served as a Major General in the Sri Lankan Army, has passed away. During the Thero’s time at the army, Major General Ananda Weerasekara served as the Commanding Officer of the North Central Province before 2007.
