Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious & Cultural Affairs has instructed the Department of Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs to take necessary steps to celebrate Maha Shivarathri in a festive manner.
