Colombo (News 1st); Ranjan Ramanayake has filed a Writ Application with the Court of Appeal on Tuesday (02). Ramanayake in the application requests for an interim order to be issued preventing the attempt to make his parliamentary seat vacant. The Attorney General and the Secretary-General of Parliament were named as respondents in the application.
