COLOMBO(News 1st): The Sri Pada pilgrim season begins on Tuesday(29) and will continue until the Vesak Poya. Processions carrying the sacred objects left the Sri Pada Raja Maha Viharaya in Galpoththawa, Pelmadulla following religious observances on Monday(28). Meanwhile, the Nuwara Eliya District COVID-19 Eradication Committee requested the public not to visit Sri Pada due to COVID-19.
