In the wake of urgent transmission taking place elsewhere in relation to the spread of COVID – 19 pandemic, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Army with the intention of inspecting the progress of the proposed emergency hospital in Krishnapuram, Kilinochchi visited it and closely watched all aspects of the ongoing project.
