The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal submitted by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to increase the minimum daily wage of a plantation worker should be Rs.1000 with effect from March 1, Co- Cabinet Spokesman, Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardene disclosed today.
