Sri Lanka’s Minister of Higher Education Bandula Gunawardena stressed today that ragging cannot be taking place in the university campuses for whatever reason from this year.Addressing a media briefing yesterday at Auditorium of the Department of Government Information, the Minister said President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s policy manifesto states that ragging in Sri Lankan universities and other higher education institutes will be eliminated from this year for all the students of this country to get a free education without fear or suspicions
