Preventing NCDs given high priority in national health agenda

Health and Indigenous Medicine Services, Women, Child affairs and Social Security Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi stated that preventing and controling Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) have been identified as a priority by the Government of Sri Lanka in its national health agenda She was speaking at a panel discussion of the global meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) on Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Mental Health held in Oman from December 9 to 12.
