President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to assure that there is no shortage of essential food items in the market during the festive season, the President Media Division said in a press release yesterday.He has also instructed to make sure that the sellers adhere to the recently gazetted maximum prices of rice and other essential food items.
