The government has planned to allocate Rs. 500 billion in the next five years to promote an export-oriented digitised economy which would pave way towards a rapid development in the country, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremeisnghe said yesterday.The Premier made this observation addressing the members of the Board of Investment at a special meeting held at Temple Trees Thursday (03).The meeting focused on a series of proposals presented by the BOI to uplift the local economy.
