The Producer’s Price Index (PPI) of all economic activities covering: agriculture, manufacturing and water supply & electricity for the month of August reached 134.3. The annual growth rate recorded for the overall PPI is 1.4 per cent.The PPI reported for the economic activities: agriculture, manufacturing and electricity & water supply sectors are 138.8, 131.3 and 87.7 respectively. Manufacturing and electricity & water supply sectors reported positive annual growth rate of 6.8 percent and 2.9 percent.
