The National Elections Commission (NEC) will commence registering nominated Presidential candidates from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today. The NEC will accept any objections pertaining to the nominations from 9.00 a.m. until 11.30 a.m.According to National Election Commission annuoncements, the Presidential candidates will be permitted to enter the Commission accompanied by two persons to handover the relevant documents. Intoxicated persons shall not be allowed inside the National Election Commission premises. A meeting was held at the NEC yesterday morning with security and other stakeholders to discuss security measures and a traffic diversion plan to be in operation at the NEC premises today.
