The Disaster Management Center states that the landslide warning issued by the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) for Kurunegala, Kegalle and Ratnapura districts is still valid. Assistant Director of Disaster Management Centre Pradeep Kodippili requested the residents to leave the area immediately after seeing the signs of a landslide.
