Sri Lanka Cricket will go ahead with its tour of Pakistan following security clearance from the defence ministry. “We have the green light from the defence ministry,” SLC secretary Mohan de Silva confirmed “The tour is on as we planned. I myself and our office bearers will also be accompanying the team.” A new security alert by the Government put Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan in jeopardy but with less than two weeks to go, they have given the greenlight to go ahead.
