President appoints a Commission to investigate into Easter Sunday Bomb attacks

President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a five-member Commission to inquire into Easter Sunday Bomb attacks on April 21and report or take necessary action.The President has issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification Saturday 21, September announcing the appointment of the Commission.The five-member Presidential Commission will be headed by Appellate Court Judge Janak de Silva and will consist of Appeal Court Judge Nissanka Bandula Karunarathna, Retired Judge of the Court of Appeal Nihal Sunil Rajapaksa, Retired Judge of the High Court Bandula Kumara Atapattu and retired Ministry Secretary Ms. W.M.M. Adikari.
