The Sri Lanka–India Society (SLIS) celebrated India’s 73rd Independence Day on September 1, at a function held at the Taj Samudra in Colombo.Ports and Shipping and Southern Development Minister Sagala Ratnayaka was the chief guest and Indian High Commissioner Taranjit Singh Sandhu was the guest of honour.
