The Chief Justice has nominated three separate Trial-at-Bar benches comprising High Court judges to inquire into three prominent Rajapaksa era cases, namely, the controversial Rathupaswala shooting case, murder of journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda and Avant Garde floating armoury case.Accordingly, Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya has nominated High Court judges Menaka Wijesundera (President), Nimal Ranaweera and Nishantha Hapuarachchi to hear the Rathupaswala shooting case.
