Sri Lanka's inflation, as measured by the change in the Colombo Consumers' Price Index (CCPI) deflated to 3.8 percent in June 2019 from 5.0 percent in May 2019, the Department of Census and Statistics reported. The CCPI for all items increased in June 2019 to 130.2 from 129.0 in May 2019. An increase in the index point by 0.95 percent was due to the expenditure value increase of Food items by 0.74 percent and increase of Non Food items by 0.22 percent.
