Twelve Fundamental Rights petitions filed over the Easter Sunday attacks are to be taken up before a fuller bench comprising seven judges of the Supreme Court today (12).Attorney General Dappula de Livera will appear in person before the Supreme Court to represent the interests of the respondents. However, on a previous occasion, the Attorney General’s Department announced that the Attorney General would not appear on behalf of the Inspector General of Police and former Defence Secretary.
