Minister of Buddha Sasana Gamini Jayawickrema Perera says the Poson celebrations will be held in Anuradhapura from the 11th to the 16th of this month. Special Pirith chanting will be held in a railway compartment to bless the country and the people. The rail compartment will start traveling from Kurunegala station to Beliatta and from Beliatta to Kankasanthurai.
