Colombo (News 1st): The unanimous approval of the Constitutional Council was given to the Acting Attorney General, Dappula de Livera to be appointed as the new Attorney General. The decision was taken at the Constitutional Council meeting chaired by the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya this afternoon (May 7).
