COLOMBO (News 1st) – A group of locals staged a protest today(April 03) over the failure to renovate the Nawalapitiya – Ulapane Road at Mariyawatte junction in Gampola. The protest was attended by the Maha Sangha as well, during the protest, the group contacted Minister Lakshman Kiriella via telephone only to be treated with obscene language.
