Colombo (News1st): Police fired water cannons and tear gas to disperse a protest march organized by the Inter-University Students Federation. The university students staged the protest at the Technical Junction in Maradana citing several demands. News1st correspondents reported that the protest has resulted in traffic congestion along several roads in Maradana.
