COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has released smaller coins which are more cost effective to produce. The new coins have features which will allow the blind to identify them. The new coins will enter circulation on the 3rd of December through commercial banks. The older coins will remain in circulation.
