Colombo (News1st): An Indian national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for attempting to smuggle 20 gold coins valued at Rs. 880,000 hidden in his luggage. Assistant Director of Customs Vipula Minuwangoda said the suspect was en route to China. He went onto note that the gold coins were confiscated while the foreigner was later released.
