Colombo (News1st) -The ban imposed on usage of Glyphosate for tea and rubber plantations has been lifted. The announcement was made by Minister of Plantation Industries Navin Dissanayake during a media briefing. The minister noted that the step is being taken as there is a risk of China limiting tea exported from Sri Lankan.
