COLOMBO (News 1st) -Nawalege Stanley Dias of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has been elected the Mayor of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia municipal council. The vote to elect the Mayor was held today (26th March). Nawalege Stanley Dias received 23 total votes while the former Mayor Sunethra Ranasinghe of the United National Party only received 21 votes.
