COLOMBO (News 1st) – One person died in an elevator mishap that took place at the Gampaha District General Hospital. The individual had fallen off and died after being crushed by the elevator. This had happened during the rescue operation. Several others who were trapped inside the elevator were pulled out to safety, police noted.
